Package flash.filters

The flash.filters package contains classes for the filter effects that are new in Flash Player 8. Filters let you apply rich visual effects, such as blur, bevel, glow, and drop shadows, to BitmapData and MovieClip instances through ActionScript. You can also apply filter effects to objects such as text, images, and video through the Flash authoring tool.
